Kumun Tadi plot
Denise, a foreign botanist, is in the harsh wintry environment of Turkey's Black Sea coast doing research. She stoically plods through knee-deep water to reach the remote place where she grows her plants. With the same fearlessness, she walks at night to the secluded hut where she meets her lover Hamit. Poor Hamit has remained in this desolate region after failing to earn a living abroad. Hamit can't bring herself to tell her that he earns his living helping others flee to Europe. But Denise gets tired of his secretive behavior. When she is recalled to her homeland and one of Hamit's assignments spirals out of control, he makes a decision that ends disastrously.
