Kleinhoff Hotel plot
Pascale misses her flight to London and moves into Hotel Kleinhoff, in Berlin. That night she peeks at Karl a revolutionary, with his girlfriend. The next day she follows him to a demonstration where she is arrested. When she is released, she returns to the hotel, where she finds Karl crying. She comforts him and goes to bed with him, after which he commits suicide at night.
