"In the trap for a psycho-killer, the bait is a lady cop!"

Female investigator Stella Stafford works out of the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. She becomes embroiled in a case in which a young, highly regarded school teacher has been murdered. Stella is convinced of the killer's guilt but learns that the victim's life was different from what was initially expected.
