Kazoku E plot

Hailing from the remote Goto Islands, Asahi is a boxing trainer in Tokyo and plans to marry his fiancée Kaori soon. He is tested when a childhood friend, with whom he grew up in an orphanage, asks him for help and he is forced to choose between his friend and his betrothed. Will he use the money for his wedding to help his friend or will he listen to Kaori, who wants to get married as soon as possible so that her dying grandmother can still attend the wedding?
