To escape the hot summer in the city and to forget about an affair with a married university teacher, Ji-sook takes two friends for a trip to the mountains of Kangwond, where she meets a friendly police officer. In the second part, Sang-kwon, a teacher looking for a new job, also takes a short vacation with a friend. His holiday is also characterized by drunken parties, joyless flirting, surreal dialogues and suddenly degenerating quarrels.
