Joint Custody plot
"We both have a say so in this."
Jobe moves on with his life after divorcing his ex-wife. Due to the divorce, they now have joint custody of their two children (Levi, fifteen, and Jewel, eight). As the children move back and forth between both homes, they begin to feel alienated and confused. It becomes very difficult for Jobe and Mara to maintain two houses for the needs of their children. In an attempt to prove that she is the better parent, Mara begins to take drastic measures to ensure that the children, family and close friends see Jobe as a bad father.
