Introducing Dorothy Dandridge plot
"Right woman. Right place. Wrong time."
In the 1950s, manager Earl Mills made black singer Dorothy Dandridge world famous. In addition to numerous appearances, Dorothy gets the chance to act in a film by the well-known director Otto Preminger and she became the first black actress to be nominated for an Oscar. Dorothy and Otto start a relationship and her career is an accumulation of successes. Until Otto leaves her and she ends up in a deep depression.
