Aimie, a young immigrant from South Korea is in love with her best and only friend, Tran. Fearing to risk her good friendship, she says nothing to him, but does everything she can to be near him as much as possible. She gives up her English lessons and becomes estranged from her mother, who is about to remarry. When she realizes she's about to lose Tran to another girl, she becomes increasingly isolated.
