Il Fuoco plot
The film is divided into three parts: spark, fire and ash. Mario (Febo Mari), an unknown painter, is haunted by an encounter with a poetess (Pina Menichelli). He is so with her in his thoughts that he is unable to paint. The woman finally manages to convince the painter to leave his mother, with whom he lived, and to live together in her large country house. In his love for the poet Mario finds inspiration to paint. His work is widely known. However, it turns out that the poet already has a husband, who announces via a telegram that he is coming back. Suddenly she turns away from Mario. From then on, the tide begins to turn for Mario.
