Il Cuore Altrove plot
Shy Nello Balocchi is sent to Bologna as a Latin and Greek teacher by his father, a Roman businessman and tailor from the Vatican. His father hopes that Nello, who is now 35, will find a woman in that modern city to take care of offspring. Nello stays at Arabella's family pension and develops into a passionate teacher, but fails - despite the good advice of his roommate, a Neapolitan hairdresser and womanizer - to make contact with a girl. One day - is it coincidence or providence? - he meets the beautiful Angela. She is young, bold and open minded. And blind, which gives Nello a little more confidence. But Angela is a real temptress and has other plans for him: through him she wants to win back her former sweetheart, who abandoned her to marry someone else.
