Hula Calhoun is the daughter of a pineapple-plantation owner in Hawaii. She is mainly engaged in swimming and horseback riding and leads a carefree life. Until she falls in love with a newly arrived Englishman, who unfortunately turns out to be married. Hula then puts everything into battle so that the Englishman will fall for her after all.
