Huacho plot
A day in the life of a Chilean family in the province: the grandparents, daughter and son get up before sunrise. The power has gone out again. Grandma Clemira makes her cheese, which she later sells on the street for little money. Manuel's grandson goes to school in the city. His mother Alejandra tries to earn more money from her employer, in vain. She has to return her new dress to pay the electricity bill. Grandpa Cornelio builds fences and returns after the hard physical labor to the local bar.
