How I Got Lost plot

"Sometimes you have to get lost to figure out where you're going."

Andrew is talented, seemingly has nothing to lose, and is held in check only by his desire to succeed as a stock trader. His best friend Jake is heartbroken and writes about sports despite his passion for fiction. Andrew persuades him to leave New York and they go to Philadelphia. There they borrow Andrew's mother's car and move on. But when they're stranded somewhere in no man's land, the real reason for Andrew's runaway behavior emerges: His father has passed away and he doesn't believe he can handle the funeral alone.
