Himlaspelet plot

Due to the jealousy of the villagers, a pure peasant girl, Marit (Eivor Landström), is accused of witchcraft and dies. Her betrothed Mats Ersson (Rune Lindström) turns in vain to God for justice and out of bitterness becomes a powerful and rich man who has lost his soul.
