In her early thirties Kate leads a successful career and has found the man of her life with Alan. However, her stable life is turned upside down when her younger sister Melissa suddenly disappears. Kate embarks on a massive scavenger hunt, but finds herself drawn into the dangerous world of crime. She discovers that not only Melissa has disappeared, but also a large sum of drug money.
