He Knew He Was Right plot

Louis and Emily fall in love, get married and have a child. They live happily until Emily's godfather, a real womanizer, begins to visit Emily regularly. Louis suspects the two are having an affair. The pressures of Victorian society turn his jealousy into an obsession that could destroy the lives of Louis, Emily and their young son. And what about Louis's friend Hugh and his love for Emily's sister Nora? And what about Reverend Gibson and his attraction to two different women? Based on Anthony Trollope's book of the same name.
