Hawaii Calls plot
"An island paradise rings with song!"
Young shoe shiner Billy Coulter, along with his buddy and paperboy Pua, board an ocean liner bound for Honolulu as a stowaway. Here he finds an unexpected ally in the form of the musician Strings. String conspires with Billy and Pua and hides them from the irascible Captain O'Hare. Once the ship arrives in Hawaii, Billy can evade the authorities by hiding with Pua's native family.
