Harem Suare plot
The story is set on the eve of the fall of the Ottoman Empire. In the harem of Sultan Abdulhamit, Safiye (Marie Gillain) makes a pact with the dark eunuch Nadir (Alex Descas). They try to strengthen their position in the harem. This can be done by giving the sultan a son. However, they fail to realize that they are clinging to a power structure that is on the brink of collapse.
