Zhao Deshan is an old farmer who lives on the edge of the mountains in a remote village. Because the soil is so barren and barren, some days he and his wife barely have anything to eat. Zhao's life takes a radical turn when the governor of the province honors the village with a visit. He believes that the government should pay more attention to the poor. To back up his opinion, he presents Zhao with a pack of money. Not long after, the mayor receives a donation from Beijing: two expensive foreign sheep. He immediately decides that Zhao is the right person to take care of the beasts. If the villagers manage to breed them successfully, the village will be allocated more money to invest in a livestock farm. Zhao and his wife do everything they can to make this mission a success. However, that is not so easy, because the two sheep appear to suffer from star allures and that brings with it the necessary problems...
