Halimin Put plot
After the war in Bosnia ends, Halima, a grieving but strong woman from a Muslim village in Bosnia, searches for the remains of her husband and teenage son. They were taken by Serbian paramilitaries and executed. Using a DNA analysis, the UN Commission on Missing Persons manages to identify her husband's remains in one of the mass graves, but the commission still cannot identify her son's remains because Halima refuses to provide a blood sample. for DNA testing. There's something the committee doesn't know, something Halima has withheld from others: her beloved son wasn't actually her biological son.
