Couple Inga (Carin Tietze) and Daniel (Thomas Heinze) are about to divorce, leaving their seven-year-old daughter totally upset. On a cold December night, Melanie (Stefanie Werner), who suffers from pneumonia, sneaks out of the house upset. Her parents start a search, questioning whether their concerns will bring them closer together.
