Guldkysten plot
The year is 1836. The Danish botanist and visionary, Frederik Wulff, travels to Africa on behalf of the King of Denmark. He has to control the work on a coffee plantation on the Gold Coast (present-day Ghana). Young Wulff writes to his beloved Eleonora about his desire to do good, but despite his best intentions and his Christian faith, he is soon confronted with the harsh reality dominated by the slave trade.
