Gritt plot
Gritt is a Norwegian woman with big ideas. She wants to create a socially critical theater performance entitled 'The White Irritation', but never succeeds in putting into words exactly what it should be about. Norway and perhaps the West as a whole, she says, suffer from apathy. “An inability to act.” The tragedy is that no one wants to hear what she has to say. She could have been Lars, the successful artistic director of The Theater of Cruelty, a theater company she asks to produce her play. But she's not Lars. Somewhere she missed a turn.
