Gregorio plot

"A young boy from the mountains discovering the enormous and always changing city of Lima."

Gregorio, a twelve-year-old Indian boy, lives with his family in a village in the Andes. After a bad harvest, his father leaves for the capital to look for work. Work is happily found and the whole family settles in one of the slums of the big city. However, father becomes ill and dies. Gregorio has to take over the role of breadwinner. He gets to work with other boys from the neighborhood.
