Gräset Sjunger plot

"A marriage, a murder, a country without mercy"

Southern Rhodesia, 1940s. Mary is a woman from the big city who is going to marry farmer Dick Turner. They emigrate abroad and Mary has to give up all the comforts of cosmopolitan life. However, Dick's farm is unsuccessful and Mary is slowly going mad. Then she begins a sexual affair with her black servant Moses. When their affair is discovered, Mary asks Moses to leave the farm.
