Göl Zamani plot

1930. Two very close friends, Ahmet and Refik, are medical graduates and are exploring Anatolia. They arrive in a small town on the Aegean Sea and are the guests of Mr. Hasim. They get to know his shy and melancholy daughter Elif. During a night on the lake, Refik and Elif fall in love, but Refik leaves Elif behind and leaves for Europe. But Ahmet is also in love with the girl and moves to the same city especially for her. While he hopes for Elif's love, she hopes for Refik's return.
