Getting Married in Buffalo Jump plot

After her father's death, Sophie (Wendy Crewson) returns to her native Alberta to run her father's ranch. After initial doubts, she strikes up a marriage of convenience with her handyman Alex (Paul Gross). The marriage is met with disgust and misunderstanding from Sophie's family and friends, but this only strengthens the bond between her and Alex.
