Genius plot

Mike is in love with classmate Hannah, but she only dates smart guys. Mike's learning difficulties pose an obstacle, so he turns to his cocky economics teacher, Mrs. Helen Goldwyn. Maybe she can help him boost his IQ and win Hannah over. Mike turns out to be able to teach Mrs Goldwyn something too and a friendship develops between the two.
