Gateway plot

"Their Hearts Probed...Their Secrets Yielded...For One Last Chance at Life and Love."

On her way to America, Irish immigrant Catherine is the victim of ship thief McNutt. When Catherine pushes him away, McNutt is slightly injured, before suing her and confiscating her visa. War correspondent Dick intervenes. Catherine's troubles aren't over yet, as she also gets involved with Tony, a mobster.
