Gategutter plot

Oslo, the Twenties. We follow a group of boys from working-class families who are just old enough to begin to see how little the future holds for them. They still go to school, but often skip truancy to take part-time jobs to support the home situation or to get out of hand. They have to deal with strikes, poverty, alcoholic fathers, tired mothers and the friendships and loyalty among themselves.
