Fuga plot
Eliseo Montalban is a genius composer who never gets around to performing his composed masterpiece. The work is extremely difficult and also linked to his personal trauma: the rape and murder of his sister, whom he saw with his own eyes. When he performs his piece in the Theatro Municipal in Santiago, he slowly becomes mad at the things he imagines. He is admitted to an institution. Years later, when Ricardo Coppa visits the dilapidated building to investigate Montalban, he finds behind the wallpaper the long-lost composition that he wants to make his own.
