Frontera plot
In 1943, a Pyrenean village is struggling under Franco's dictatorship. Customs officer Manel Grau helps Jews cross from occupied France to Spain. He is aided in his resistance by Juliana and the smuggler Jérôme. As the regime increasingly closes in on them, the danger to their lives also increases for Manel and his wife Mercè, who, moreover, must cope with the scars caused by the Spanish Civil War.
