Focus plot

"their turf. their rules."

A white photographer befriends a black boy and teaches him the trade of photography, much to the dislike of his older brother. The boy is challenged to spend a few nights with his brother and his street gang. He manages to gain the trust of the gang members and capture their lifestyle on film. When the gang indulges in brutal violence and he has the footage to prove it, an explosive atmosphere ensues within the group.
