Focii plot
A woman dances and plays pantomime, her austere white figure moves across a red floor and is reflected in a broken wall of mirrors. As she performs, her mirror image gradually takes on an autonomous identity, so that what was once a central relationship of self to self now becomes a relationship of self to other. The film explores not only the construction of the self and the dynamics of the self and the other, but also the interaction between the viewer's body and the body on the screen, raising questions about the nature of identification in cinema.
