Flight from Glory plot
Ellis runs an airline that delivers supplies to mining camps in the Andes Mountains. He uses unreliable planes and pilots with nowhere else to go. Ellis hires George Wilson as a new pilot, but is surprised when it turns out that Wilson has taken his wife Lee with him. Chief pilot Paul Smith tries to get Lee to leave again, but the Wilsons run out of money to let the woman return. Over time, it turns out that George Wilson is an incorrigible drunk. Paul Smith protects him and falls head over heels for Lee. When a new flight is scheduled, George Wilson is too drunk to fly and Garth Hilton takes his place. The flight ends in drama when the plane crashes and Hilton does not survive.
