Flatland plot

"A portrait of womanhood in a hostile land."

Teen Natalie's wedding night ends in a nightmare. To the extent that she hides in a barn, kills the local priest and she flees on horseback. Before she leaves the village, she exchanges it for a car and takes her pregnant friend Poppie, also looking for a better place, in tow. They are chased by the agent Beauty Cuba, who carries her own past with her.
