Fifty plot
Tola, Elizabeth, Maria and Kate are four friends in their fifties who are taking stock of their personal lives. They live and work in the reviving, always bustling metropolis of Lagos, the commercial capital of Africa's largest and most vibrant economy. Tola is a reality TV star whose marriage to lawyer Kunle never got a chance due to a hateful family secret. Elizabeth is a celebrated midwife whose fondness for younger men has left her estranged from her daughter. Forty-nine-year-old Maria has an affair with a married man that results in an unexpected pregnancy and Kate battles a life-threatening illness, which has plunged her into a religious obsession...
