Feuille plot

Meihua, a Chinese painter, moves from the countryside south of the Yangtze River in China to Paris to study art. There she meets Stephanie, a successful French photographer. Both have the same view of art and partly because of this, the two women feel particularly attracted to each other. When Meihua tries to accept 'Feuille' - as she calls Stephanie - as her great love, things go wrong. She encounters strong resistance from her family, her friends and the environment.
