Félvilág plot

"Love is not everything."

Budapest 1914, a gruesome murder shakes the city to its foundations. Elza Mágnás, the city's most talked-about courtesan, has been strangled and her corpse dumped into the icy waters of the Danube. Through the eyes of a young, naive chambermaid we witness Elza's last four days and the complex relationships with the people around her.
