Faltu plot

Around 1950 a group of about 60 villagers from East Pakistan emigrated to Ranir Ghat (a part of a city in India), to found a new village here. After about a year, the disturbed woman Suri Khepi comes to live in the village and does not leave. Another year later she has a son; Faltu. Three years later, Suri is dead, and Faltu is an orphan.
