Face plot

The story is about a young Croat who goes through life masked since his face was severely mutilated during the bloody civil war in the former Yugoslavia. In Antwerp, the masked man tries with the courage of despair to collect money to have his battered face repaired. When he has scraped together the necessary capital through illegal work and shocking street acts, the nightmare seems to come to an end. Then his cousin, the only person he trusts unconditionally, runs off with the money.
