Extranjera plot

Estefanía "Epa" Urriga, an artist and teacher, sees her life fall apart when her father is suddenly investigated for corruption. To escape the scandal, she flees to Taiwan, claiming to be looking for answers, but instead chooses the distraction of new friendships, wild nights, and unexpected passions. When the reality of her country catches up with her, Epa must finally confront her mother, who reprimands her for shirking her responsibilities and demands that she take a stand.
