Exit-exil plot
Duke wanted to be a saxophonist and Olivia a dancer. The only thing he gets music from now are bottles of alcohol, while she displays her talents on a striptease scene. Olivia, devastated by the slow decay of their love, leaves Duke. She decides to go back to her parents, and asks Gerard, the judge to whom she was entrusted as a child, to take her home after all these years. She ends up in the garbage dump of her youth, where an entire village lives. She is received like a queen, glorified as the Madonna of the Landfill, vulnerable and touchingly ridiculous.
