Ethan plot

Ethan is a missionary in the Philippines. As a priest, he is very popular with the population. Until he falls victim to his earthly pleasures and falls in love with a woman. Absorbed by guilt and shame, he begins to close himself off from the world around him. Ethan flees into alcoholism, but tries to defend the woman who caused him to stray from his path.
