Emrouz plot
Youness actually has lunch break. But when the heavily pregnant, panicked and injured Sedighe gets into his taxi, he drives her to the hospital after all. Not for the money, but because it's the right thing. But then he is also responsible in the hospital for the woman he brought in. Because Iranian law does not allow extramarital affairs, and Sedighe has no husband. And so Youness is silent. He evades, as long as he can, the choice between two moral evils. If he confirms that he is her husband, he is held responsible for her broken rib and illegitimate child. If he denies, she loses her child. How long will he be able to help her if his society opposes him in everything?
