El Pasado plot
Rímini's life will never be as it was. He ends his 12-year marriage and decides not to dwell on it too long, but to move on with his life right away. A number of meaningless relationships later, he discovers that he cannot just banish his ex from his mind. There follows a lawsuit over their child, a deep black hole in his job as a translator and a visit to prison before he can find love again.
