Ein Tag mit dem Wind plot

Eight-year-old Marcel has a rabbit as lonely as himself. He decides to find a female companion for his little friend. And so he sets off, alone, penniless, like a mini-Odysseus in search of a pet, a journey that ends in discovering the world. As the day wears on, Marcel is remarkably intrepid, leaving the backyards behind, as well as the shops and streets of Munich. He tests his courage in a gloomy forest and spends the night in a hippie commune, where he is eventually promised a female rabbit.
