Édes Anna plot

After the defeat of 1919, there is no work in the countryside in Hungary and the young, independent Édes Anna becomes a maidservant to the bourgeois Vizy-Esztergalyos family, where she has to endure all kinds of humiliations while her own emotional development is still in full swing. She falls in love with a young teacher, but the class difference causes the relationship to fail. Then she becomes a young revolutionary.
