Dr. Faustus plot

Fist is a filmmaker who believes in progress and ideals. He makes a documentary about the sense of impending doom and turns to scientists in hopes of finding a new perspective. But the socialist, political scientist, economist and medical scientist have nothing substantial to offer. A disaster begins to unfold in his private life. Fist loses his wife. He then becomes blocked and is no longer able to communicate.
