"Ever feel like you just don't fit in ?"

Lydia is an obese saleswoman approaching her 30s and works in a trendy home furniture store. Although she is a member of the Fat Acceptance Group, a group that fights the prejudices of fat people, she still struggles with complex feelings about her body and her place in this world. Darcy, an anorexic real estate agent in his mid-20s, grapples with the same issues, but from a completely different perspective. Her attempts to join the Fat Acceptance Group (because of her anorexia she sees herself as fat) is rejected, but in this way she gets to know Lydia. Lydia is a little aloof at first about befriending, but Darcy's thirst for emotional connection breaks through the wall of seemingly insoluble differences, and the two face a close friendship.
